Why Naturopathic Wellness?

For me, naturopathic medicine has never just been about herbs, supplements, or finding a more “natural” way to do things. I believe God called me to this work.

I have always been interested in the way God designed the body and how much the different parts of our health affect one another. Sleep matters. Stress matters. What we eat matters. Our emotional health matters. The way we live every day matters. Sometimes we get so focused on what hurts or what isn't working that we forget to look at the person as a whole.

That is what I love about naturopathic wellness.

I get to sit with someone, listen to what has been going on, ask questions, and look at the bigger picture. Sometimes that means nutrition or lifestyle changes. Sometimes it means herbs, supplements, or an individualized tincture. Sometimes it means recognizing that the body has been carrying the effects of stress for a very long time.

My faith is not separate from the way I approach wellness. I believe God created our bodies with incredible purpose and design, and He also gave us a responsibility to care for them. I don't believe caring for our health requires us to wander into New Age practices or compromise biblical convictions.

I believe God called me to help people care for the bodies He gave them, and I take that calling seriously.

My goal isn't to convince you that everything needs a supplement or that “natural” is always better. It is to help you understand your body, make informed choices, and find practical ways to care for your health while honoring the One who created it.

For me, this is more than wellness.

It is stewardship.
